CERVICAL SPONDYLOSIS – RISK FACTORS
Cervical Spondylosis can develop due to :
- Old neck Injury, which may have occurred several years ago. Neck injury can be caused by :
- awkward positioning of the body
- direct trauma to face, neck, head or back
- bullet or stab wound
- diving accident
- electric shock
- exertion
- twisting of the trunk
- Aging factor : commonly occurs in older people who have no history of neck injury.
