TRAVEL AND CONSTIPATION
Causes
- Decreased fluid intake : Sometimes done voluntarily to avoid going to toilet often.
- Dietary changes: Commercially available food may not have good fiber content.
- Stress: Stress of traveling can affect bowel movement.
- Lack of exercise: In long journeys, a person is most of the times immobile.
Shyness and inhibition over use of public toilets.
Remedy
- Take plenty of water and consume good amounts of fruits.
