SAMPLE PLAN OF STEP II DIET
*Avoid / limit the intake of saturated fatty acids like butter, ghee, hydrogenated vegetable oil (vanaspati / dalda). Use groundnut / ricebran / sesame oil as the cooking medium. Different oils like oilve, mustard, cottonseed, corn, sunflower, safflower and soybean oils can also be used as alternative cooking mediums.
