EARLY SYMPTOMS INDICATING ONSET OF DISEASE (Poorva roop) [Va.Ni.10]

  • Stale feeling in mouth with unclean teeth, palate,  throat and tongue even after proper oral hygiene.
  • Burning sensation in hands and feet.
  • Slimy skin (chiknapan).
  • Excessive thirst.
  • Sweetness in mouth.

As per Sushrut

  • Sweet urine (Ants get attracted towards it).
  • Increased growth of nails.
  • Bad breath.
  • Matting of hair.

SYMPTOMS

General symptoms of Madhumeha include:

  • Increased frequency or excess amount of dirty urine.
  • Increased hunger – polyphagia.
  • Increased thirst – polydipsia.
  • Weakness (Daurbalya).
  • Burning sensation in hands and feet.
