The food pyramid
The different types of food we eat can be broadly divided into seven food groups. The food pyramid helps you decide how many servings of each food group to eat. Cereals form the largest section of the food pyramid and therefore should account for majority of the servings while the fats and sugar section is the smallest indicating that they should be taken in small amounts.
