Epilepsy
First Aid
- Make the person lie on the ground and turn to one side, so that if there is vomiting, it will come out easily without being inhaled into the lungs.
- Do not force anything in between the jaws.
- Do not give anything to inhale (shoes / socks / etc.)
- Do not try to restrict the convulsive movements.
- Wait for the convulsions to end spontaneously. If facilities exist and a doctor or paramedical staff is present, give a diazepam injection to control persistent fits.
