Sit ups from standing position
Dandasana
- Sit with both legs stretched, heels together.
- Place the palms on the floor by the side of the buttocks.
- Make the spine, neck and head erect.
- Close the eyes.
I. Starting position (Sthiti): Tadasana
II. Practice
- While breathing out sit down, keep the hands parallel to the ground at shoulder height and palms facing down.
- While inhaling return to Tadasana.
- Repeat the same twenty times.
NOTE:
- In sitting position keep the knees together and heels on the ground.
