  • Brussel Sprouts

 

Deficiency

  • Dietary deficiency is rare.
  • Severe liver dysfunction may impair utilization which may lead to bleeding.

 

Toxicity

  • Toxicity rarely occurs from vitamin K obtained from dietary sources.
  • Toxic effects may occur due to synthetic vitamin K (supplements) taken without proper medical advise.
