Nasika Mudra

I.Starting Position

  • Sit in any comfortable Meditative posture.
  • Keep your back erect.

II. Practice

  • This Mudra is usually adapted for the practice of Pranayama.
  • Index and middle finger of the right hand are usually closed.
  • Use right thumb to close the right nostril and little and ring finger to close the left nostril.

NOTE:

Do not push nasal bridge to any side while applying the Nasika Mudra. Use this Mudra just to close the nostrils for Pranayama practice.
