LOSS OF VITALITY – INTRODUCTION

It is defined as loss of semen through any process like nocturnal emission, masturbation or excessive sexual intercourse. Patient may also have:

  • seminal discharge before, during or after urination or even while straining for defecation.
  • physical symptoms like headache, body ache, constipation.

It is said to be a cultural belief that semen (Dhat) is a vital fluid which is made from ultra purification of blood and requires significant amount of energy. So when the person starts feeling that he is loosing excessive semen that causes significant weakness and other problems.

It is a known condition in Indian subcontinent including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and also in China, Taiwan and other Asian countries.

But what happens?

  • Loss of semen through any process like nocturnal emission, masturbation or sexual intercourse is a remarkable and excessive concern.
